Imagine A World Without PMS

Remember, she’ll be PMS free so this qualifies as a top of the charts, Cook This…Get Laid recipe.

Back in 2005, I went raw for a summer.  When I say raw, I mean no fruit, vegetable, seed or nut cooked over 118 degrees.  I took this challenge with a girlfriend of mine, more to see if we could actually do it.  I bought a great raw cookbook, dusted off my food processor and let the raw games begin.

There’s something extraordinary about this way of eating.  Eating raw does several things:

  1. It makes your skin glow.  Like you wouldn’t believe.  I looked 10 years younger.  MANSPEAK:  If you start eating stuff like this on the regular, people (especially women) will start saying, “Where have you been working out?”  “You look amazing!” Or, “Can I have your number?”
  2. Eating raw gives you energy.  Ridiculous, out of your mind, wake the husband up at 5am fully awake (after going to bed at midnight) and ready-to-go energy.
  3. Raw foods help shrink your waistline.  After two months of eating raw, I lost about 20 pounds without trying.  It felt like quite an accomplishment.  And my husband said I looked hotter.

I just felt better all around.  Clear headed enough to take on anything. But here’s the kicker:  no PMS.

Yes you heard me.  Not an ounce of PMS, which used to be as regular as the sunrise.

Men, imagine a world with no PMS.  It lives in that fantasy realm, right beside you hoisting the world championship trophy wearing the uniform of your favorite sports team. But this is actually real.

There’s incentive, after incentive, after incentive to feed your woman healthy food.

These days, I eat mostly raw during the day, and then go for a more traditional meal at night.  But for you, I would highly recommend giving recipes like the Mock Salmon Pate for your lovely lady.  It’s creamy, delicious, actually has fantastic flavor and will fill you up.  I serve this over chopped romaine lettuce with avocado, or even larger pieces of the lettuce to pick up the pate.  She’ll love eating this for the following reasons:

  1. It tastes delicious.
  2. Because you made it for her.
  3. She wants to eliminate PMS too.
  4. She’ll have extra energy for activities that most men appreciate.

For those of you who haven’t caught on yet, taking the time to prepare something delicious, healthy, PMS killing and waist-reducing only makes you look sexier.  I’m a woman, so I know these things.

This recipe is much easier with a food processor, which is something you should have in your kitchen to make some recipes from this blog.

Mock Salmon Pâté (adapted from Alissa Cohen’s “Living On Live Food“)

  • 1 1/2 cups of raw walnuts
  • 2 stalks of celery (please buy organic, celery has some of the highest levels of pesticides)
  • 1 large organic bell pepper
  • 2 scallions
  • 2 squirts of Bragg’s Liquid Aminos or salt to taste
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped

Add all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.  Serve over romaine lettuce with avocado on top.
